> If new channel owners only have time to do one thing, one practice, for their channel regularly… What should that one thing be? It's still Friday on the US west coast! 😅 Cheating a bit as it's two things (sue me) but I think channel owners/mods should: 1) Have an active interest in the subject matter you've created a channel for; and 2) set clear expectations for the type of activity you want to see in the channel and regularly share those expectations to remind followers. While I think dialogue should always be open and accessible, a channel is a space with more intent (theoretically) and so I think it's fair for whomever is publicly taking the initiative to manage one to manage as they see fit so long as they establish rules of engagement available for all participants to understand. On the flipside, participants who don't like/agree with how a channel is managed can start their own (channeling Dan here: channel opportunity? 😂)

Absolutely, being passionate and setting clear guidelines is crucial! It's about creating a space where everyone knows the purpose and can contribute meaningfully. Clarity and engagement drive a channel's success. And yes, if it’s not your vibe, there’s always room to create your own space! 😊
