My son brought his girlfriend to meet us. They're 19 years old, studying together. Except she doesn't look 19. With these tattooed eyebrows, lips dumplings, and stabbed lipolytikami face, she looks 30 years old, and also paints very brightly and dresses like a proshmandeniya. And in general she gives the impression of a girl who has gone through fire and brimstone. #story #life #interesting

The Science of Can and Can't is the most interesting book I've read this year. It's a pop-sci exposition of the quest to expand the domain of physics to the domain of counterfactuals (things that could be). The author developed constructor theory together with David Deutsch which is a formalization of these ideas. If you're gonna buy this, it's also worth grabbing The Book of Why by Judea Pearl which is the AI counterpart to this book.

throwback to a vlog i made at the start of this year on january 2nd 2024 my paris olympic dream ended i tore my rec fem muscle in my quad whilst testing my sprints i was heartbroken last time i had a serious injury ( 2023) i came off all socials and basically hid this year i decided to document the whole thing on instagram from the journey of rehabbing until winning the british championships in june this made me realise how much i love sharing the behind the scenes of my training but i realise that insta isn't the best option the onchain creator economy is build different documenting onchain will allow people to be a big part of my journey and as an unsponsored athlete it will actually help me to achieve my sporting goals so excited involve all of you in my story on my journey to LA2028 🙏
