I've been quiet lately as I dealt with a death in the family, a funeral, and related duties for the past month. Thanks to @trishd for "holding down the fort" for the BSS channel. Now that I'm back to my daily routine, I'll be casting more in the channel and returning to our publishing queue. A bit late, but Trish has inspired me to share an old photo of my own ancestor shrine from 2012. I like the similarity of the skull candles in the lower left corners of our photos!

I started talking to a man. A year older than me, I am 35 years old. He is not married and was not, without children, handsome, athletic, with money, car and apartment. I'm surprised he hasn't been hunted down yet. I think maybe he was working or shy or principled. It turned out banal: in bed nikakuska, just finish in a minute. No caresses, almost no kisses. On the one hand I am already 35 years old and want some certainty in life, and on the other hand, and why do I need such a ballast.... #life #life #history #interesting

On her 50th birthday, our mom decided to tell us that we had been raised all our lives not by our birth father, but by a man who loved her dearly and took her in with her two daughters when the biological father rode off into the sunset, “looking for himself.” Mom is still a very beautiful woman and the biological father showed up three days before the anniversary with apologies, pleas that he wanted to live with a real family, that he understood everything, etc. Mom still loves him and dreams of living with him... All these almost 25 years, she waited for him. We are shocked at this news and at mom's thoughts. We haven't had a moment's desire to see our “real” dad. We stay with our dad either way..... #life #history #interesting

Thanks @phil for curating Silicon Valley Canon. Past 6 weeks were full of dense reading which already impacting in transformative ways. It opened up so many rabbit holes with furthur readings that I am set for a whole years. 😁 Weekly discussions were my fav. ❤️ ❤️ @fluffheadchaser and @wanderloots.eth I look forward to more discussions like these.
