The burn was never guaranteed. The burn was never promised. Currently, ETH emissions (+0.8%/yr) exceed the burn, meaning Ethereum isn't deflationary right now, but even with net-positive issuance, Ethereum still has the lowest inflation among ALL major blockchain network! This underappreciated advantage makes ETH uniquely sustainable long-term.💪

Stablecoin payments are exploding and it's overwhelmingly Ethereum-based! Aside from BSC and Avalanche, virtually all stablecoin payment volume now happens on ETH and its L2 ecosystem like Arbitrum, Base, Optimism, and Polygon. Low-cost Ethereum layers are rapidly capturing volume, highlighting growing user demand for cheaper, faster, and secure global payments.

Robinhood is also building on Ethereum, though often overlooked compared to giants like BlackRock, Fidelity, and Coinbase. Their support for Global Dollar Network’s USDG stablecoin recently reaching ~$261M in monthly transfer volume (Mar ‘25) highlights the accelerating trend of more and more players going ONCHAIN! As the world becomes more multipolar, with trade wars and trust issues increasingly common, neutral global blockchain networks like Ethereum will become critical infrastructure. Ethereum provides a public, neutral layer allowing frictionless trading and interaction worldwide. This is not priced in yet. Globalization isn’t dying completely - it’s reshuffling, and crypto will be a massive beneficiary of this shift.📈

📊 In 2024, Circle made $1.7B in revenue! But here's the catch: ➡️ $908M (54%) went straight to Coinbase, its main USDC distributor. Stablecoins are all about distribution and Coinbase owns the relationship with users, capturing more value from USDC than Circle itself. Meanwhile, Tether pays almost zero distribution costs and still made $13B in profit last year. Circle? Just $156M. Circle’s IPO filing highlights critical questions: 🔸 Can Circle reduce its heavy reliance on Coinbase? 🔸 Can it rapidly build out its own distribution infrastructure? 🔸 And can it handle a big risk of falling interest rates which could slash revenues by nearly 25%? The answers will shape the future of USDC and Circle itself.

📊Ethereum L2 throughput is exploding! But does this actually help ETH? Let’s unpack it 👇 Base just hit 28M gas/sec, leading all EVM chains. 🔹 Throughput = real compute TX counts are misleading. Throughput (gas/sec) is blockchain horsepower — a true measure of network usage. 🔹 The L2 critique Many argue L2s are parasitic: → They capture value offchain There’s truth here. Most L2 activity doesn’t yet meaningfully accrue to ETH. 🔹 But this is structurally bullish More L2 throughput = → More blobs → more ETH burned → Cheaper UX → more app devs → Ethereum = universal settlement layer ETH is the platform, even if value is spread across L2s. 🔹 What’s missing? Real usage Infra is scaling. Now we need: → More wallets → More consumer apps → Real-world adoption Without users, high throughput ≠ ETH price appreciation. 🔹 Bottom line Ethereum’s modular roadmap is working. But for ETH to win, the next chapter must be about adoption at scale.
