hifi

i went to a restaurant in richmond,va last night..and had an incredible experience. not only were my expectations accurate, they were exceeded..for multiple reasons..but the four JBL L100's hanging from the ceiling was most definitely one of them. 

there's one store near me that sells hifi equipment, called audio exchange. we're lucky to have that..but there is nothing else, especially with a unique experience.

the spot i went to last night is ultra low-key...no sign...you can't see inside..i'd be surprised if you could fit 50 people in there. it felt like a secret...after a quick search..axios and esquire put it on their best bars in america list for 2024..which is understandable..

whats my point? Its called Fanboy. they had vinyls on the wall, nice lighting + design, and hifi speakers. food was incredible yes, the chef knew what he was doing..oysters from maine were god tier, and the steak frites blew my mind..but the hifi cocktail bar idea really got my gears going.
