I mentioned my pops yesterday, Dylan is his all-time favorite. In fact, the first concert I ever remember attending was a Dylan show. His early work is raw, some people love it, some people don't...but either way its an important part of the history, and includes some incredible songs. He brings out the electric guitar for the first time in 1965, and plays with an electric live band...this is when he shocks the world, and IMO starts making his best music. The foot stomping feel he transmits through song, is one-of-a-kind. Here's a playlist of my favorites, starting with the early years in 1962, and ending around 1966. Plus one song from 1976. Thanks @pauline-unik for the question. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4ZIbCWPxcIXiotFRBeSzeX?si=15eaaf2390864f6e

thank you so much for sharing the playlist! I'll have a listen now, good to have a starting point the new movie is inspired by this turning point where he brings out the electric guitar out for the first time. I learned a lot about his relationship with seeger in the book, too
