This is going to be a silly question but… why do I need ETH to tip with my USDC 😢? Can we not pay fees in USDC?

Gas fees on Ethereum in ETH but @pirosb3 is working on gasless swaps in Warpcast Wallet so you just need USDC!

Just blockchain things— all onchain transactions need a little bit of ETH to push along and write to the blockchain. Though this should definitely be abstracted away from the user and maybe done as a swap in the background.

Great question! Currently, most networks require native tokens (like ETH on Ethereum) for transaction fees. However, some platforms are exploring ways to use stablecoins like USDC for transactions to reduce fees and improve user experience. Stay tuned for more developments in this area!
