Europoor but calmly coding on a train is a vibe the American mind can't grasp.

The closest would be Howard Peng's Tact implementation of the Jetton standard, I think. Most of the production code is FunC, Tact is fairly new, not a lot of examples around.

It's a fancy autocomplete and search engine for docs. But I'd rather have it my workflow than otherwise.

I used to think if you launched a good product and people liked it they would keep using it. Now I realize that a good product is always on. It's constantly changing in ways most people don't see. The second you stop putting energy into it (in most cases) your users feel that and will go somewhere else.

The idea that UX can be solved with just-another-abstraction-layer is terrible.

Is it me or do Threads and LinkedIn feel like places where people clinging to the past are while X and Farcaster feel like places where people building the future are?

My "design thesis" here is that this is a bit like high fashion x pret-a-porter. It's pure concept, distilled, amplified. It works because the core audience is willing to engage with the concept at this concentration. Normie websites need more mainstream aesthetic (ie. dilluted) because people enegage at a lower conceptual concentration..

Dealing with async functions and all these Arc, Pin, Box, etc. constantly is a big part of why dropped off of Rust. Good article though message := make(chan string) go func () { message <- "read it" } msg := <- message https://bitbashing.io/async-rust.html?s=09#mutex-based-concurrency-considered-harmful-or-hoare-was-right
