But then Elon became the main character in the social media business and the new fashion is hate on Elon and cheer for Zuck.

I've noticed that hating Elon, or hating Zuck is one of the more obvious external signals of a person's political ideology.

eg. there's a big difference between criticizing them for expanding their centralized power, and criticizing them for not using their centralized power "in the right way"

That sounds like more on the "expanding their centralized power" side, which is also the direction that I criticize more from!

I'd say your focus on that line of criticism reveals that you have similar openness and decentralization ideals to a lot of crypto people, including myself :)
