I'm generally very impressed by llama3, but this (from 70B) is a clear phail imo.

I think this is an unfair hypothetical — 

You might assume options like these to be mutually exclusive but it’s not required, specially when you haven’t specified if it’s multi-select or what the question is

Question could be “what regions is Brazil in?” for example

Be specific.

It's not a hypothetical though! It's a list of options taken from an actual twitter poll I saw today

All I was trying to figure out is "if you see this poll, and live in [country X], how should you vote?"

Ah - Well one piece of context is that you can only select one answer

But I think this poll simply just has a flaw with the Americas/LatAm overlap. Maybe a good LLM should pick this up but I’m not convinced

What does Llama recommend someone from eg Brazil put as the answer
