Lots of terrible things in NK but it's clear that it's not at the level where KJU can just order people to get pregnant.

That said, I do worry that the population decline issue is going to push lots of regimes to try various heavy-handed approaches to be even more interventionist on culture. I expect lots of failures in these attempts.

will be interesting to see if the pro-natalist forces are able to push things as far as state encouragement of more favourable mat leave etc from corps in exchange for tax breaks

Because these attempts won't account for the main problem: relative economic poverty for those in the lower and middle class. And global central banks won't let asset prices fall
