Why are Europeans referred to on the internet as “Europoors?” When I am in Europe I perceive a relatively highly standard of living, infrastructure development and public safety. I do not see many Europoors.

Raw income charts show US being wealthier, including median. Also specific statistics such as living space sqft. The usual stereotype is that EU outdoor (ie. public) environments are better but US indoor environments are better. In my own experience, EU outdoor envs are definitely higher quality, it's hard to judge the indoor side because any single person's sample will be biased.

Interesting! Would you ever use indoor AC as a proxy for quality?

Makes perfect sense…I suppose it’s all to ones taste but I’d take better public space over private space. American style of life is lonely and isolating which probably contributes to less wellbeing and mental health
