Why are Europeans referred to on the internet as “Europoors?” When I am in Europe I perceive a relatively highly standard of living, infrastructure development and public safety. I do not see many Europoors.

Raw income charts show US being wealthier, including median. Also specific statistics such as living space sqft. The usual stereotype is that EU outdoor (ie. public) environments are better but US indoor environments are better. In my own experience, EU outdoor envs are definitely higher quality, it's hard to judge the indoor side because any single person's sample will be biased.

But more “seriously” I think it’s a dual thesis - Rank n file ‘Murica Americans like mogging Europeans about WWII + post-war prosperity/power arcs in the global world order - American elites on the Internet like doing that too but church it up w nerd dunks about GDPR and other perceived/real restrictions
