The only way forward in a sticky situation is directly at it. Don’t try to go around, don’t try to hide, don’t hope they won’t notice. Straight ahead with humility, empathy and a sincerity to compromise. Always the best outcomes.

This is such underrated advice but so true. Going straight through, albeit quite difficult, is the only option that minimizes long-term damage in relationships, product or self.
