These were delivered to me approx. 6 months ago - I likely averaged something like 15K steps a day, so to be conservative lets say around 2M steps over the period They've started to show serious wear and tear - should I be disappointed or is this par for the course for leather barefoots? Does anyone have any alt brand recommendations?

Heyo! I got the leather Geo Court II because my last pair of Vivobarefoot shoes were mesh and kept tearing at the top of the toe. I'm going to take them to get polished this week which I like to do every 3 months to keep them in good condition. I bought them Feb 9, 2022 and estimate I've put ~3,178 miles on them. They're in great shape. If you can find the latest pair of leather Vivos that is the way.

That level of durability is rare thesedays — the only comparable durable shoe I have is a vibram five toe barefoot. But its less about mileage in them and more about sheer variety of terrain they've endured over 8 years. They literally show no wear and tear Are you able to refer me and we both get 20% off our next order? I think I'll pick up a pair of these ASAP https://www.vivobarefoot.com/us/ra-iv-mens

Great call! The RA IV look like they are more of a casual everyday shoe and less for running. Hopefully Vivo still makes a solid leather running/tennis shoe. https://vivobarefoot.mention-me.com/m/ol/ha0lo-adam-hurwitz
