One of the benefits of the US is it's enshrined, in the UK it's just a norm I've had friends in London cited for things they've said in private Whatsapp groups, it's quite shocking tbh

Yes sadly the UK doesn't have the same rights with regards to speech. It's very worrisome the direction the UK seems to be heading.
