The birthright thing is going to be really bad for Indian immigrants. I was in the H1B queue for 9 years, didn't get my application approved yet. Fortunately, ended up marrying a US citizen and became a resident. You now can lawfully work in this country for 10 years, and have your children not be legal residents.

At least, that's my current reading of how this is implemented. Hopefully they have some exception for non-resident visas.

It's unclear if its constitutional, and it might face a lot of challenges in the courts - if one assumes the courts are functional during the trump presidency this EO might need to be revised
