A merchant wants to accept USD debit cards (for in-person sales) in the US, and get paid in USDC. What is the current best solution for this?

The main limitation here is the PoS provider (card reader hardware and software) Square, Toast etc all exist in this space but the only one with stablecoin infra is PayPal https://www.paypal.com/us/business/pos-system Unfortunately I think the option here (if available at all) would be pyUSD The other option would be to setup a regular POS like Square and a bank account like Mercury, and then automatic and programmatic onramps with /fernhq

Thanks for the pointer. The merchant doesn't have a US bank account nor can create one, hence why Square PoS to bank is out of the picture. Looks like /fernhq solves the "accepting wire transfers, receive as USDC" part. I wonder if it's possible to hook up Square or PayPal PoS to a Fern virtual account number?
