Is it just me or is the number of ads in gmail exploding? And if you delete ads, it throws more ads at you faster I think.

You don’t use raw gmail but a personal domain I think. Those don’t have ads but they just started charging.

dunno what I must have done — years and years ago — but I see no ads, nadda. if I ever remember, will report in 🫡

Might have been a good time to switch from using Gmail to native Apple Mail app as I recently did. Gmail app was becoming unusable for me independently of the ads.

Google sneaking ads in everywhere. On Youtube TV there’s a new multi-view experience where you can watch 4 games at once. It’s somehow selected by default. They are for sure quadruple counting ad impressions

My ad blocker seems to successfully mute these, but I also combated this by routing gmail messages into a different client.

Between google n meta our reality is bleak, thats why web3 socials.
Till we figure out how to monetize for ad content sufficiently. Then we're fooked, on to web8
