if tied to python, pelican better across: plugins, themes, functionality, extensibility. idk nikola and afaik mkdocs themes are mostly product/library docs focused

I’m a big fan of MDX. It’s a markdown syntax for react. What’s nice about it is that you can author and insert any react component anywhere, and the rest of the time it’s just regular markdown. Lower friction to integrate cool widgets, best integration path for goodies from Claude Artifacts and the like. Here’s one I maintain: https://github.com/diffplug/gitfromscratch
