I’ve been reading about trauma lately, speaking as a basically low/no-trauma person (afaik) and one of my conclusions is that the majority of the world is low-grade trauma-driven and it manifests as being in war mode by default, peace mode by exception. Guess I’m rather lucky in having the reverse orientation.

I think so. It’s orthogonal. I can be competitive on occasion. The thing is, peace mode makes creatively differentiated infinite games way more attractive and accessible so competing just feels boring.

that’s fair - do you think any capitalist enterprise can credibly larp as a creatively differentiated infinite game?
