It’s been interesting to rewire my twitter to be primarily an information consumption channel. Been doing a bunch of pruning of outer ring of follows and it’s mostly the LinkedIn-type posters and news/PSA type accounts making the cut, as opposed to the “characters” and the whole feed feels different

The toughest calls are actually the non-personal non-news accounts like astronomy pics. Decided to keep them for now.

Feels like FC overall is sort of neutral to mildly positive on the muskening, but for those of you who disapprove of it — going LinkedIn+newsy+entertainment there and cutting out social and serendipity needs feels effective to me. Main priority for me is to not enable it politically.

What are the traps people might end up in positions where they end up supporting politically. The whole “free speech” stuff seems to be spiraling but my feed seems uninterested so far

I still can't figure out if it's just coincidence that post-Elon Twitter feels more "moral panicky" than ever before... the vibe is psychotic these days, really concerning. Only 1% of the US population is actually engaging, but historically that seems to be enough.

it’s weird bc I never really spent much time on Twitter before, and now I find myself mostly on there to see what Elon does next and so my twitter is essentially only used for news about twitter aka elon been spending more time on it but mostly using it as a current events resource for how the muskening has been goin
