Gave up on Ahsoka after 1 episode first try but now into it after Mandalorian rewatch. Very different from rest of Star Wars univ. Has an LOTR/Dune feel. The leap to another galaxy with vaguely ominous more-alien background gives the story a sense of vastness. Kinda like DS9 and Voyager in ST. Thrown is good villain.

I haven’t really watched any of the animation. I catch up by reading wiki summaries when confused.

Have you watched Rebels at all? Really adds to Ahsoka. Not sure how non-animation watchers might experience it. Younger audience than live action. But, still. Ezra, Thrawn, Hera, Sabine, etc are all great in Rebels.
