Products, platforms and commodities are types of protocols. The question is whether protocols can be at the same time vertical, horizontal and atomised. Are they, then, everywhere in the background? Or are the properties gained from “speciation”?

Protocols do seem on a different plan than products and others. Going meta as in the previous cast is too vague, yes, and could be mixed with some diagonal.
