the diff is probably speed of deployment, but I think outcome is the same (eg no diff than Doge or XRP for the time being looks like)

Just a fad, anyways users get an introduction to wallets and tokens. Unfortunately, some will learn some difficult decisions regarding asset allocation and trading. This lens on memecoins is hyper extractive from the insane building going on. One day tokens will represent actual community value. We are getting closer.
