Appreciate the highlight/difference on PvP vs PvE! I’ve similarly likened this to ‘gamba games’ (shitcoins/memecoins/day trading - speculative PvP, net zero in most cases) vs when people spend their money on product/service/experience they’re willing to pay for (PvE, net positive). Both still attention games

Early in my time in web3 I aligned w/ a company whos vision I thought bold + ppl I enjoy working with. We had some big Ws in 21, but w/ the highs came immense scrutiny & criticism on very public stage. Building through the highs & lows gave me appreciation for the tenacity & resilience required to be here longterm

Maybe not the first for me, but certainly one of the most impactful: N64. I’d gravitated towards gaming w/ systems like SNES & Gameboy, but the N64 opened up a whole new world for me at the time. The world building, storytelling, caring about these characters & creatures in game and forging memories w frens IRL

Appreciation + love post for @yungwknd Their programmatic & generative art helps beautify the TL, but I think they don’t get enough credit for their broad & impactful contributions (both infrastructure & collabs w/other creators). If you haven’t, would highly recommend digging into their work
