Isn't this the pursuit of perfection? Which is inherently subjective? Setting a standard for yourself to be "enough" is surely the goal? Else the goal posts move each time you're on target

I’ve experienced it rather like a crucible recently. very little break, but deeply restorative rest when it occurs. 

almost like there’s something I’m training for? (I don’t even train for anything lol)

inner work is exhausting at times, but the depression that comes from ignoring the work is just as bad. my psyche seems to have set a pace that i need to embrace to avoid extreme dysregulation

it definitely needs a lot of compassion for all selves and all who participated in creating them
