I’m finishing a three-day water-only fast and I appreciate: - my body and how it manages a bunch of complicated processes in the background. I’m amazed by what I’ve learned about fasting and excited to keep exploring. - connection to food and its ability to provide needed nutrients and rebuild bodies. Fasting, like gardening, has deepened my relationship with what I eat. - a family who inspires all types of challenges to promote well-being. Five of us went without food for three days. We encouraged each other and found humor when it got hard.

oh this is really awesome! I signed up for a three day water fast and then the water had some things to teach me. 🫠 hahaha I freaking love that your whole family participated! is this your first time doing that?

Yes. It's the first but won't be the last. We plan to start each month fasting. Their support made it much easier. Will you fast again? I'm learning that even shorter fasts are beneficial.

truthfully, we are accidentally incidentally intermittently fasting since the state is proving itself untrustworthy in it’s care of neurodivergent families. the water fast I attempted to attend was supposed to be encoded for understanding how energetics of water and money connected. unfortunately it tipped me the wrong way right out the gate when they said never to use plastic water bottles. that’s literally all I have access to. I do actually see the benefits of both intermittent fasting and water fasting in this experience which makes me chuckle. 🤭 I don’t know why most information is gate-kept so *unintentionally* well. and please know I am sincere in my curiosity with what you learn on your journey! I find your perspective to be so growth-inspiring. it is an honor to reflect with you. 🥰🫶

The conspiracy theorist in me wonders if the gate keeping is unintentional...but we've moved so far from nature, that it's not hard to believe our society has lost much of the knowledge. I'm intrigued about the energetics of water and money. Haven't heard of that concept.. And bummed that you weren't able to participate. Did they require metal or glass bottles??
