Is been a month that I stopped gym because of my lower back pain and recently started it again slowly working upper body and core. But I have felt so guilty all this time and afraid I will loose my muscles and body. Has anyone experienced smth similar and how did you overcome the fear?

You need to realize that gym and anything you do should not become an obsession. I am guilty of this myself. If you go to the gym for a long time and your health requires you to, missing out a few days/weeks is not a big problem because you will reach the same level you were at, in half the time you took the break
