Recently discovered Arthashastra, which feels like the Indian subcontinent's version of "High Output Management" for kings. It was written several hundred years before European equivalents like The Prince. Fascinating to read what statecraft was really like back in the day.

Also kind of wild that the book was lost for a good 700 years and then had to be retranslated from Tamil palm leaf enscriptions.

👀 👀 reading Kautilya? That's amazing. Have you read Chanakya? It's too political, but it's mind-bending.
