What if every navigation within a frame didn't need to hit the frame server?

The first version of Neynar Frame Studio was built on what we call simple pages. These pages were built with a static map to route between a frame's internal pages, redirects, and mint links with transaction support coming soon.

Spitballing ideas:

- allow image to be used as a background layer, and text string to render on foreground layer
- allow very limited text styling options (color, font size, font weight, positioning) and only render generic keyword font families (monospace, serif, sans-serif) which clients have set fonts for

Optimization idea for frames that serve dynamic image(s):

Create a warm cache for top n users that are most likely to engage with a caster's frame.

Top users can be calculated from mutual farcaster engagement metrics, token holdings, etc.

This would reward engaged users with better UX (via faster loading times).

Trying to make a time sensitive Frame is super challenging because of this. 

Super happy to see better performance.

can you comment on this approach? i've seen other frames devs doing this, but i assumed returning a whole image as a data URI was too heavy and a bad practice, is this recommended?

we support up to 256kb images in the data URIs today.

Are you sure that image generation is the bottleneck? My frame uses pre-rendered images and it still feels slow. (and frame response time is ~300ms).

Maybe not directly related, but do you think we’ll see one day horizontal swiping replace Next/Prev arrows?

hello!  question, if we need to figure out why the warpcast server is rejecting our encoded transaction package, is there a way to do that?  Using the frame validator gives us the basic html error code but beyond that kind of hard to figure out what's going on.  Thanks!

Hey @v, absolutely loving the drive to speed up frames on Warpcast! 🚀 As a non-techy media creator, simple and quick frames enhance how I share my NFT adventures. The Simple Frames concept seems like a winner for us creative folks! What do others think about balancing speed & creativity?

My favorite in there is definitely #2.

I wouldn't recommend any WC specific markup language or templates as it will limit the adoption of frames beyond WC. 

Also I noticed that SVG frames render fine on the web app (at least they did a few weeks back)

SVG in a frame would be amazing and enable so many cool things like native text and animations. Definitely hard to sanitize though!

could you prefetch if there's a route without input text?
