World-class UI/UX is minimally about pixels, and much more about how it works and what the trade-offs are.

Agreed, that's why it's important to have a pov when going into it. But it can be both proactive and reactive. A lot to think about re channels, no?

I guess my pov is UX research is not useful indpt of trade offs on what to focus on. :)
