a good example is what happened in the 80s - 90s with LVMH during globalization & mass manufacturing (abundance) Arnault created the new luxury industry by producing a lot of high end luxury items yet presenting them as rare In this model scarcity was not about limited production but about controlled perception, hence creativity is the rare commodity here
