New Zora is better than the last version. Optimizing liquidity is cool.

This is an important experiment, but it's not the next level.

As a publishing tool, it just isn't compelling enough to spur a new creative wave at scale.

And make no mistake, what we need is more creativity.

Imo what it gains from better liquidity it loses elsewhere. It feels very abstract. Hard to compare without experiments yet

It seems like a new step in their quest to devalue the worth of creativity. In my case, I find it incredible that you buy something in a sort of primary market, and then in a supposed secondary market, it’s worth much less. It really makes the person who bought in the primary market feel like a fool. I feel like everything is wrong with Zora, and I still think they should go all-in on their Instagram-clone model—that could actually work.
