prob have to stop writing all these ad-hoc casts about zora and publish a proper article. imo no doubt the protocol is the most powerful nft publishing tool to-date, but: 1) the protocol mechanics are misunderstood by creators 2) the app is at odds w/ the protocol and creators 3) damaged brand equity w/ creators

problem is that zora is more wrong than creators are. yes, i think there are some misunderstandings on how the protocol works, but UX is a wider gap. so anything i'd write would be directed more toward zora than creators, and that's been a losing battle. they're very stubborn. maybe it's vc dollars, idk

my guess would for sure be bc of vc $, that's the business model of blockchains. it's about maximizing transactions (blockspace), not maximizing user profit/valuation. I think that's where they lost the artists. it's meant to be a web2 post replacement, which is totally fine, but it is against their previously rep'd ethos imo
