Good day at the /allotment, plotHODLers! Have a few updates from today, but this cast is about an apple tree.

Found it sheared from the weight of the fruits. My bad--I knew we should've setup a proper training frame over winter, but didn't get the chance.😿

Cut off the branch & setup a basic fan training for now.

Definitely sage advice for any fruit or veggie with heavier crops! Same thing happened to one of our dwarfing apple trees this weekend.

Best thing to do is to support them as they are growing and before they need the support!

LOL! Not to laugh at this misfortune but this happened to me yesterday because of heavy winds in my area. I thought my cage would support it but I was wrong. Hopefully, they still produce for both of us. Sucks!
