I try to supplement my tips with a comment. I think it would change the dynamics here a lot if all tips were considered spam.

Makes sense, @dwr.eth. Related to your goal of increasing quality content, I think tips can help to incentivize that.

I’ve never advertised tips as a feature of contributing to /diptychs, but any regular contributor will know that I tip them regularly. It feels like a nice thing to do in this context. I don’t know if there’s an easy way to see the replies to my replies in the channel, but the majority of them are very grateful for the gesture.

I'm just curious what people think. There's a solid contingent of people who don't want any tips. Majority seem fine / happy about them. Solve for x.
