Fractional tips always, @dwr.eth, otherwise no. I equate them to IRL tips. A gesture of gratitude and good faith. I try to supplement my tips with a comment. I think it would change the dynamics here a lot if all tips were considered spam.

I’m so confused. People don’t want free money? They consider it spam? Seriously? I guess I could see this if the tips were fake but I’m genuinely trying to wrap my head around this. I love free money.

If it's not worth anything or doesn't include any other text it's pretty much always spam. The "fire" tipping has been pure spam the entire time, I don't even know if its an actual token

In the following cases, I sometimes suspect replies with tips is spam. 1. replies below the "Show more" 2. If the tip seems fake(large amount) 3. The tip amount is small, such as a decimal point

We must not forget that there will be people that will reply and add a tip of 3 DEGEN and that might be all the person has. Also, we should evaluate the cast itself aside from the tip. The tip really should not make it more or less quality. Now, if the cast only has the tip, it can be considered as a form of recognition. Like tossing some coins into the public music player’s hat or guitar case…

If there is a way to silently tip sure. I constantly have to keep in mind that I am using a cast I pay for to tip and yes that can be worth it (quick and dirty) yet it is nice to add it in with other text and musings if there is time. /wildcardclub has it with a touch of a button and now notifies after yet you have to leave @warpcast for it.

In my case the issue is that sometimes you don't know the person who's answering to you and people can cast a tip even when they don't have money in their wallets so they seem nice to you, so they can win a follow maybe?
