has anyone tried one of those reMarkable e-ink tablets? going to be doing a lot more reading/studying in the coming months and wondering if it's a big step up from doing things on a laptop

primary advantage: it's not a laptop, so I'm less distracted. primary disadvantage: it's not a laptop, so im less capable. other pros and cons too. i like mine a lot, but I barely use it. what are you hoping to do with it?

It’s a fun toy but it’s another gadget to remember to charge and build habit around. Though my use case was taking notes, maybe reading is better

For reading/studying then I'd say it's a big step up from doing things on a laptop...especially if you're someone who likes to write and take notes while you learn (vs typing)
