Building /quilibrium
Over 400 communities on Quorum, nearly a million and a half messages sent, hundreds to thousands of people online at any time, P2P, E2EE, and growing constantly.
This week:
- Milestone 3 testing is concluding as we speak with the mainnet data dry run. So far, working fine โ mainnet state is cozily slotting into the encrypted hypergraph.
- Our verifiable encryption implementation is now available: https://github.com/QuilibriumNetwork/ceremonyclient/tree/develop/crates/verenc
- The hypergraph implementation has been dramatically improved for speed, you can find our implementation here: https://github.com/QuilibriumNetwork/ceremonyclient/blob/develop/node/hypergraph/application/hypergraph.go
- When the mainnet data import test is completed, we will proceed with releasing our S3 compatible API and KMS compatible API previews
- Milestone 5 immediately follows, along with Quorum updates and Q name service, and then... 2.1 3 replies

I was under the impression the whole replication topic was strictly about fair launches, not broadly covering implying the Q was replicating what BTC is/does.
Which it doesn't replicate BTC very well, as Quilibrium is fundamentally aiming to provide a different experience than BTC. While it is PoW (Proof of Meaningful Work) network, Quilibrium is not actually a network that is just for it's native token, $QUIL, but rather a network in which the network token is just the beginning.
Quilibrium is designed to be used by full-scale modern applications (using Go-compatible code), ZK data storage and transmission, and private money, not as a network for a single cryptocurrency.
And due to that it doesn't have a fixed supply of tokens, although it's monetary policy does bound the token emissions such that it reduces with increased network state, but at a certain point (~8ish years from now) will scale back up to encourage more people to add more compute without it being a waste or just for security. 1 reply

This week:
- Pre-2.0 mints are _done_ (prerequisite for 2.1)
- 2.0.6-p3 released with high speed VDF implementation
- Milestone 3 on testnet, next stage of testing for M3 coming up along with S3 compatible API and KMS compatible API previews (Both will be used on Quorum, to enable large file transfers and to allow DAOs to set up spaces with group control over an MPC wallet, demo pictured, coming soon!)
Next up: More QoL improvements for Quorum, Q name service, Milestone 5, and then... 2.1 2 replies
