Spoke with a dev today who told me he doesn't believe AI is such a big deal, perceives of it as merely a new tool, and that it won't change much about his plan for his life or what matters to him. Huh.

I agree that it probably won't change my plan for life or what matters. 

However, it is a big deal. 

It certainly augments my coding as well as places more focus on what needs to be delivered rather than how to deliver it. 

It also provides an objective solution without all my bias of how I think it should be done.
