Are standups archaic for small (remote) teams? Increasingly feel like a one weekly call is good and allow async for the rest of the week + tooling to keep everyone in the loop

Any input on how to make work more pleasant for everyone is appreciated

depends on everyone’s preference and  time-zone spread. 

I used to have a template for async updates with: yesterday, today and blockers headers.

sync at least once a week though.

remote teams can feel lonely, so be sure to listen and observe.
