Farcaster

There have been several attempts at making custom feeds a thing in the FC ecosystem.

One challenge is that most people just want a sensible default and don't want to tinker with settings.

Another challenge is that you'd need to build a full app to be able to test out your feeds.

I think there is room to build an extension of FC to support custom feeds in a decentralized way.

Other apps could use it but maybe they could be "integrated" with Warpcast via mini apps and discoverable via Explore.

If there is demand from both devs and users for this and it gets traction. I'm sure we can figure out how to help distribute through Warpcast. Likely as mini-apps initially.

I reckon there's a big assumption hidden in here. Custom feeds can be first-class citizens, as opposed to a setting. The phrasing is important though.

If you remember back in Spring, our Nouns x Farcaster prop had exactly this.
