teacher explained how major academic goal is to get basics for reading & writing in place before stating a big focus will be cursive writing to which i unwisely chuckled

never in my adult life have i gotten such a glare from another adult 😭

e.g. Steve Jobs was notorious for being a fan of calligraphy.

One of my fondest memories is the entire notebook my grandfather wrote with pages and pages of beautifully writter cursive letters 1 year before I was about to start school. It set my fundamentals for a methodical and careful approach.
