How will delegators, operators, and AVSes adequately be able to calculate risk? The white paper suggests a dashboard could solve this -- I think this is polyannaish. The problems here will be incredibly dynamic and involve unclear dependencies. I’m not sure it’s solvable, let alone by all parties routinely?

The FAQ claims honest AVS operators will not be susceptible to slashing even if all other AVS operators are malicious. How will you be determining this, if it isn't a decentralized vote? If there is a centralized source of truth for malicious behavior, why even bother with the decentralized variant?

How will you solve for the principal agent problem if operators have large amounts of delegation? Can EigenLayer promote permissionless protocols more similar to Rocket Pool to avoid watering down Ethereum stake further to trusted delegation being the most common option?

Why did EigenLayer choose to allow deposits before any AVS’s went live? Eigenlayer now holds >$2B in TVL but does not currently do anything novel. I consider this quite antithetical to the "trustless" aspirations of Ethereum. It seems dangerous to normalize locking up tokens in contracts before they have any utility?

interested in hearing his view on other restaking projects. Only token Im aware of that has native restaking planned is Polygons POL, but Sreeetam said he expects all blue chips to follow suit & become restaking tokens. Want his view on whether they will follow Polygon, use Eigen or if they aren’t mutually exclusive?
