The FAQ claims honest AVS operators will not be susceptible to slashing even if all other AVS operators are malicious. How will you be determining this, if it isn't a decentralized vote? If there is a centralized source of truth for malicious behavior, why even bother with the decentralized variant?

Given the existence of the above committee, isn't the cost of corruption the lesser of the cryptoeconomic security and the cost to corrupt the committee?

Note also, this FAQ does not note that this is a temporary state (if it is), as described in the white paper in section 3.4.2
