Just gotta get this off my chest: I don't want to make a living off of speculative value extraction.

Nothing wrong with speculation. But if my financial security hinges on my ability to extract value from other people's speculation, then I'm out. I'm not here to drive hype so I can extract value from people's trust that I'm creating value to go with that hype. I just want to create the value and skip the pump and dump casino games. Is that distinction meaningful?

Sure it’s meaningful but i think it’s idealistic. Hype is often necessary to drive attention and prove value

I'm here to build the ideal world. Why settle for the hype driven economic model when we have the chance to create something new? I think it's short sighted to think that what works in the current system is the only way.

Because we’re not starting from scratch We have a free market system that’s really unleashed more innovation faster than an stable ideal world would The dynamic nature of our society is what pushes it forward An ideal static state doesn’t serve progress
