anybody have data on FB groups activity or usage? anecdotally surprised at how many people i’ve met IRL use it as a forum for their town, for new moms, for Rivian questions, for travel suggestions, for seeing if they’re dating the same guy, etc obvs i’m not meeting gen alpha so it’s an older demo but still

Facebook groups have replaced dedicated forums in several of the niche interest groups I follow. The forums still exist, but the day to day activity has moved to Facebook. Don't have data, but anecdotal confirmation from me as well, surprising amount of FB group usage.
