launching a token should feel like the same "weight" as creating an X account, not like "launching an IPO" as more tokens launch and token launches become more streamlined / less red tape, this will be more and more the case

Why? Whats the benefit of everything being a token? Does my laundry need a token? Do I need tokens for talking my dog? What is the purpose, outside of potentially gamifying EVERYTHING?

Does this is not sound like absolute hell of a reality to live in? I get wanting to pump your bags and be the next thought leader but yikes that does not sound enjoyable. I don’t need everything I do commodified even more

I'm with you. You have to keep in mind that everyone here is the like .001% of the population that lives to pvp everything in life, and they just don't get why the masses aren't onboarding into it. The rest of the world is just out living life and not giving a single hoot about if someone's dumping on them. I refuse to care about any of these tokens. I'm not here to build tokens. Tokens are a tool, not an end goal.

I also think it's important to realize that the goal of making tokens more effortless and transparent should be to abstract them away so ppl don't even realize they're using tokens. Until then, all we'll have with tokens is PVP trading in amm style pools where the only winners are the extractors, not the creators. "But trading fees" is just a short term cope we're stuck in until the next layer of innovation comes around. My opinion.
