It's been 20 years since I organized community events for the first generation of "internet-natives". There was no Facebook yet and it was normal to talk under a nickname with unknown people. It was a unique time, pseudonymity is no longer popular today.

Not long after that came Facebook and LinkedIn and the internet changed forever. Ever since normal people started using their real identities on the internet, freedom has been disappearing.
